The last time we visited Bali, we were there in September. Now we are thinking about going there in midth of November till the beginning of December. I searched the BTF a bit to see how the opinions and experiences of travellers and locals at this time of year is. I found some different opinions about the rainy season. OK, but what striked my attention was that travellers are reporting that there was unusual rain during the months of dry season. I found a hint that explains this thing with "la nina" (the counterpart of "el nino"). The official office in Indonesia for meteorology stated in a press release that they expect very extrem weather conditions in Indonesia. But I couldn't find details about that. Does somebody know more about that? Could the upcoming rainy season get wetter than usual? Or is this weather phenomenon turning the seasons upside down - so that the rainy season could be drier?
Would be happy if somebody knows more about that. There is a website of the office [Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG)], but as I don't know Bahasa Indonesia I can't understand the content.
Thanks!
