we stayed in a 1BR garden apartment at the Villa Puri Ayu last December and found it to be good value for money. It is clean, included buffet breakfast, staff were friendly & helpful and food/drinks are good & reasonably priced. Plenty of good restaurants & reliable money-changers within easy walking distance.
It was our first time staying in Sanur and we were happy with our choice (would've been nice to be beachfront but it was only a short stroll away so not a problem). We have booked to stay again in Oct (but in a 2BR Emerald suite this time).
Contact them by email & ask about availability & rates. You will find they offer a lower rate than inidcated on their website.
