Great to read that no probs with airline cos I'm going over with Jetstar in March and coming back with Air Asia.
All in all sounds as tho you had a great time. Will be my 2nd time over there in march and I agree with helping out the locals with tips, even buying the stall owners a drink is sooo much appreciated by them. We are very lucky and I think take a lot for granted
