Initially Westpac gave me the same line, but then conceded that I couldn't successfully apply for a reversal until the merchant (Indojet) had stated that they would not provide the service paid for.
This is the stalling tactic that Indojet have used to prevent people from making claims.
I would certainly be stating this case to the credit card provider, as if they are applying a 90 day rule, why would you use their card to pay for travel when you often book 90 days in advance at least.
Give it a go and see how it works out......but BE FIRM!!
