take my daughter when dining out.she has been eating out with me since day dot both in australia and many overseas countries whilst on holiday, so at the age of 3 she is pretty centred in her approach to restaurants.like yours she can be boisterous(boredom) but i always try and find things to amuse her and try and involve her in the meal as much as possible.
Whilst i have never been to Bali with her (this will be our first time together) i have been with my friends and their 3 year old and they had no problems wherever we ate.whether it be rumours, mamas or the living room.
As another poster mentioned the Balinese love children and will help out in anyway they can(even though its not their duty) they love it.
I say have a fab time and try not to worry to much about how he "may" behave,of course there will be times he doesnt comply lol he is a kid after all its really how you handle the behaviour that will constitute other peoples levels of tolerance.
