I generally travel solo and only once a year if it all works out right for me - but sometimes I've had to skip a year. I won't be getting extra currency I don't need to save time that isn't wasted on the arrivals end.
As I said, I've never had to argue over exchange rates or change, and it's never taken me any longer than it did the people ahead of me.
