Could it be that some hotels are also doing the same (or are victims of a scam at the water providers) with the so called free bottles of water provided on a daily basis to guests?

If so, it would explain my most unusual, sudden and horrible stomach upset last year after moving to a budget hotel. I have tried to figure out what caused my problems and have not been able to find any cause. To avoid dehydration I of course drank lots of the provided water and even asked for additional bottles, thus adding to the vicious circle of frequent visits to the toilet.

A doctor had eventually to be called as nothing at all helped to stop the way too many visits to the loo. Immodium is normally a quick way to stop a runny stomach on a temporary basis but not even that worked.

Probably it is safer to use Bintang for brushing the teeth. Or would that be called a waste of the good alcohol? At least it would be a difficult decision to spit out the Bintang after brushing.
