simply because it is so hard to hold of anyone to deal with problems. i booked a special fare to bali ($120 return, bargain, or so i thought)but after booking and paying i developed an ear infection and could not fly. had a doctor's certificate stating this but after numerous calls to air asia, still no refund. i had to fax the certificate to malaysia, got no reply. so emailed it, no reply. each time i called, the help desk had no record of my enquiry and gave me a different number to fax or email it to. i logged 15 calls to help desk, four different fax numbers, eight different email addresses. gave it up as a lost cause, it's only $120 after all, but i will not fly with them ever because of this.
