I would suggest as some already have to get three taxis (to the right as you come out of airport) so therefore if you don't have any rupiah, it may be a good idea to cash say $50 in the airport as you come through the baggage area. Unless you don't have much luggage you would need 3 taxis which are around the 55,000rp mark (under $7 each).
On your way back to the airport when you need to depart Bali, I am sure that you would have meet a driver or will be able to arrangeone near your hotel, who would be able to transport you to all travel together back to the airport.
