fare from airport to kuta

Happy New Year to all
We (8) all adults are arriving in Bali 10th Jan & was wondering
about cost of fare from airport to Kuta which is the cheaper way to go taxi or van & approximate costs? We usually have prebooked ones but this time have decided to do on our own any suggestions will be appreciated
