We got back from Anakula last night. The villas are on a dirt track surrounded by not much at all. Was a bit shock at first but we soon got used to it.
Every morning we followed the track towards Legian Street then turned right to have breakfast at Cafe Seminyak (outside Bintang Supermarket) Great food and service. We didnt go down Double six this trip but from memory I dont remember there being alot of restaurants down there. There are alot at the end of Double six though along the beachfront.
To get home in a taxi we said we wanted to go to Jalan Nakula, then Gang Baik Baik then directed them to the villas.
All in all the villas were lovely, the website photos are accurate apart from the villa looking larger on the web (thats always the way though isnt it?) We could only get one channel on the TV. There is a booklet stating villa services such as meals but no way of contacting anyone to order anything! lol You are very much on your own, although there is 24 hour security out the front which is comforting. After staying in hotels or villa complexes not being able to pick up a phone to order room service, a taxi etc took a bit of getting used to but we enjoyed our stay and have booked again for March.
