The accomodation on the beach side consists of Tropical Terrace rooms, Beach Cabanas and Villas all of which are of a high standard.
On the other side of the road are the basic standard rooms which by now I would expect have been upgraded to Superior. These upgraded rooms are a vast improvement on what was a Standard room and are very comfortable, my 'Her Indoors' and I now stay over the road in one every time we go.
You are correct,the dining room is on the beach side but there is also a restaurant ' Crocokiss ' on the other side next to the pool, we are not sure about breakfast there but you can get a late brekky after 10am at Coco's on the beach.To walk over the road to brekky is just a couple of minutes.
Dont be put off about staying on the other side of the beach as there is a crossing guard there 24/7 and you will be in no danger from traffic.
If you do decide on Novotel and stay on the other side of the road see if you can get room 552 as there is a pleasant outlook of the pool.
Be warned, once you get a taste of the ambience of the place, you'll
be back.
Odds on if Wharfie reads this he can tell you whether or nopt brekky is on at Crokokiss, he was there last week.
area which is not noisy at night.
