Mobile phone use

I have a Telstra Next G mobile phone. Will I be able to use it in Bali? I tried searching the forum, but all it brought up were ALL of Tina G's posts! Tried deleting the G and was told this was too common a wrod to be helpful in a search!
I can probably get my hands on an old phone, but would like to know before I go...
