The shop at the southern end of Jl Legian has a very small range and don't like to come down very far in price. My dad ended up getting a muscle shirt/singlet but paid AUD$10 for it. They didn't want to come down that far, but he had no intentions of paying more as it was barely worth the $10.
Better off getting official licensed gear at home when it's on sale. Best & Less sell NRL licensed gear at pretty good prices and have a good range - and the quality is better than the stuff in Bali.
