Gets my vote I was there in May with a girlfriend and loved it. We either walked to town or caught a cidomo. Walked home in the dark a couple of times, just remember to take your torch. It was close enough but still far enough away and the service is superb so are the bungalows. I cannot fault the place, devine breakfasts included oh and afternoon tea. Ooooh I so want to be there now, we had 5nights here of complete relaxing. Nothing was a problem we used the hotels snorkelling gear then hired bikes one day to bike around the island had our laundry down through the hotel also. We left the staff some port royal tobacco and assorted nz lollies. Had a drink at scallywags one night but haven't seen the rooms so cant comment.

I just proof read this it sounds awfully biased, ooops. I have stayed in another alam property in Ubud Bali with my family and I rate that as high too they have just got it so right in my opinion.

Pros: the best service, delicious breakfast and afternnon tea inc, the price, fresh water showers, toiletries supplied inc a sarong and beach towels, the ambience, the peace and quiet, the tree shaded swimming pool

Cons: none
