Yes, by all means go and have a look. Was there only 4 weeks ago.
The top 2 floors are full of ceremony umbrellas and flags and fruit and spices, sarongs etc. Some wonderful smells around the spice area.
Now for the not so wonderful smell area. The bottom floor is where the chickens, ducks, meat and fish is all cut up and displayed. Watch out on the floor as does get slippery at times. Also outside near the steps they sell fish out of baskets that sit in the sun all day, or very little shade. Take your camera as it is a real eye opener. I always ask before taking a photo and the owners like to be in the shot as they are very proud of their business.
Also while you are there (Badung Pasar) if you walk across the river on the narrow bridge where sometimes they dry out squid on the concrete walkway, you come to another market (Kumbasari Pasar) which is also worth a look. Like a rabbit warren getting around the different shops but also interesting. Only 20 minutes from Kuta / Legian area so well worth it. Denpasar has a lot to see so make a day of it and enjoy seeing how the locals live and work.
Regards Bob.
