Every time I visit Bali I'm amazed at how things change in such a short space of time. Places pop up and then disappear to make way for new developments.
My first trip to Bali was in 1995,We stayed at the Bali Intan Hotel in Legian which has recently made way for the huge Pullman Legian Nirwana resort.For those that remember the Intan in its heyday,it was really a great little Hotel and its a little sad that it no longer exists.
We ate at restaurants like Yanie's and Goa2001 both of which are no longer operating. Back then there was also a strip of permanent Kiosks and Bars along the top of Kuta Beach that were a great place to enjoy a Beer,meet new people and watch the Sun go down.
Those Bars are long gone now but I'm wondering if anyone has similar fond memories of Favourite Hotels, Restaurants or other places that are no longer around that they would like to share.......
