in the North of Bali serve it. There are many places that only serve that and it sits in the window proudly on display and when you order they just slice some off. It does come out the next day if not finished that day. And of course we are talking Bamboo places with one glass window to display piggy so no AC etc. And the flies, don't get me started on the flies! We are always being invited by our Balinese family and friends and have to decline and say we have already eaten.

Also, little piggy goes to market or the Warung in his little piggy basket with his little piggy feet tied up and sits on top of another little piggy and another and another on the back of the little piggy truck in the blaring sun for hours.

The other day in Ubud in Jalan Hanoman 3 piggies were laying alive (barely) in the hot sun on the steps of a temple. They were there for so many hours that my mother decided they needed water and was pushed quite severely by one of the Banjars away from little piggy who was obviously there to be sacrificed and why would you give a sacrifice water, even though it looked like it was about to die before it was sacrifice time. Once sacrificed little piggy's may have been on the menu at Ibu Oka.
