Flew Ex Perth with Indojet. Had a good flight over, very impressed with the services. Didn't mind paying for drinks. Happy to read my book. Flight over was 3.5 hours, so we are very lucky.

Checked into the Jayakarta, Not happy Jan, got told to have a seat. Our Party was a group of 6. so needed 3 deluxe rooms. Well after being seated for 1/2 hour, we went up to reception, We were told computer error, and that they were overbooked, and that we had to either go to another hotel or be Upgraded to the apartment. Well I know from reading the BTF that this is not an upgrade, so stated we wished to have a look at the rooms first. Our friends travelling with us,it's their daughter who is a travel agent that booked our Holiday, so they were feeling bad, but we explained that this was not her fault, but the Jayakarta's.
Went & looked into 2 rooms, they were ok, but were musty with dampness. The other room we rejected as it was that bad.
Our friends ended up getting a Privately owned apartment-very nice for the 1 night.
Changed rooms approx 7.30pm the next night, but 2 rooms were with twin beds, no-- not happy again, though we couldn't be bothered and pushed the beds together.
My son and his girlfriend weren't overly happy but the thought of changing rooms again a few days later didn't appeal.

The Jayakarta location is good, ( we normally stay at the KP-fully booked. Pools were ok, but not enough shade for me.
Prices expensive by Bali Standards, so didn't eat or drink in the hotel at all.
Ate at Mira Mar and all the little eateries around this area.

Day Spas
Briella was our main haunt, just to the left out of the main gate of the Jayakarta. Had lots of treatments, Pedicare, massages etc, very nice to be pampered.
Kumala Pantai
Had a cream hair bath at the new Kumula Pantai Spa, although dearer @ 119,000rp well worth it. also had 1/2 reflexology, bliss. These premises are very nice so can highly recommend.

Have come home with a sore throat, now a full blown cold, so will continue later.
Thanks for reading
