Just cant say ECHO BEACH without saying the rest.
Anyhow, we were there in March, best night is Sunday night as they have a live band in the bar/restaurant there. Food is good, entertainment is good, view is specky, lots going on. As for fare, we got a taxi from Kuta, its quite a tricky little drive because you go down some lanes and whatnot to get there, I cant exactly remember the fare but it was less than $10 Australian. Getting home, we walked back to where we got the taxi and there were 4 or 5 sitting there, so we just jumped in and off we went again. I guess you could ask a driver or a taxi to wait for you, negotiate a price and determine what's best.
