I have been married to my Balinese hubby for the last 12 years and we know live in Perth. We lived in Bali for nearly 3 years just a couple of years ago and seriously living there is very different to being on holiday however I loved it and would to it again. I changed to Hindu with all the ceremonies before we got married (no big deal and nothing drastic)!!!!Also getting the visa here in Aust wasnt hard either and we have plenty of friends also here that have had no dramas, just keep all emails copies of phone bills, and whatever else you have to prove you are together for the time you have been together If you want to email me personally you can on shellmang@hotmail.com Getting to stay in Bali isnt that hard also we got my Kitas visa year to year with the help of an agent at Immigrasi and he was great and overall cost us an extra 300,000rp pocket money for him!!!who cares saved me a hell of a lot of running round. Learn to eat the food, speak the language and read a great book Bali Niskala and Sekala (buy in the bookshops there) you learn a lot from that. Good luck Michelle and Komang and Santhi
