like many we get different things out of each. Though I do think with a small child the zoo comes out slightly on top because of the petting zoo. This week at the safari - because of the time of day we were there there was only the one photo op with the rather large lion cub - which the staff were *proving* was not drugged by making them stir when they stuck a marker in his ear! The adults in the pens reacted more to a fly or somthing landing on them!
We did get to feed the elephants and the baby which you were told was 2 months in March and is still two months now :o) That was probably the highlight of this trip for us.
I wont go again in the middle of the day there is too much walking to do in the heat. Morning or afternoons are better and the last safari ride is at 5.15pm.
The souvenir shop is reasonably priced. We have had a few toys and things from them that have been good quality and not too expensive.
