We had the same problem last time we used them.
Booking was cancelled when we got there and had to pay hotel price for room until we could get in contact with a---rooms and get it sorted.This ended up being about 10 calls to Thailand from Penang cost us a fortune and the opperator was very hard to communicate with due to limited English capabilities.
I'm not sure if you can contact the hotel direct if your booking is with a----rooms. They did send us a conformation before we left home.
We havn't used them since.
