from being a Saint & being prepared to wait till the owner returns to fully handle the problem I expect Trayden has seen what happens on BTF these days if you name names & make negative comments about a hotel or anything in Bali.I also think that his wife is an even more tolerant person than he is.

I expect many travellers would have immediately checked out & demanded a full refund if the situation was this bad.The welts would have been bad enough but having to dispose of perfectly good clothes & luggage, would have been the last straw.Trayden I wonder if you go to a Doctor & have evidence of what happened if travel insurance would replace your luggage & clothes ? Might to worthwhile to think about.

If it happened to me or any of my family,we would be out of the place so quick you wouldn't see us for dust but each to their own.I would be doubtful if it was a single isolated incident if the bed was so badly infected when the linen was taken off.

It is not easy to eradicate bedbugs but an increase in the general level of hygiene in the hotel would go a long way. While I realise they can be found at any hotel I certainly hope that the complaint will be taken very seriously & reach the right ears.I expect I am not the only one who would like to hear the final outcome of this.

It's a pity the staff had not been trained better or a senior manager was not able to act better in the owners absence. It is any business owners fault to a large extent if their staff are unable to handle things properly in their absence.
