Selamat Pagi. I feel as though I have wet the bed, as I am never up this early.( Too many kids make mummy very exhausted )Would love some help rediscovering Sanur as last visit was actually 1992.OMG.Had a stopover 10 years ago in Legian but that's it.
Travelling in a few weeks with Virgin/Pacific Blue and leaving from Perth.Evening flight on a Monday. Husband and three kids; 10,7 and 2.
Brother's wedding and Hari Nyepi a few days later.Have been 4 times through this celebratory day and not worried at all. ( What about the kids natural noise??? )So a few ideas on the following would be fantabulous and I promise I will seek out every nook and cranny to report on when I return.
* Best place to get water from, near Griya Santrian?
* Shops that stand out as a little different from the usual?
* What is the latest trend in market stalls at the moment?
* Could someone suggest a reputable warung to take my kids to so that they may experience this.
* I would like the kids to buy locally where possible, so suggestions for shops for surfware clothing, shoes, girls bracelets/hair stuff and things for a 10 year old boy would be great.
* Cultural dances?
Thanks in advance and I have looked through archives but just thought someone might be willing to put the kettle on a spill their hints.
Anything else would be excellent.We are going to Ubud for two nights at the end of our trip and staying at Hotel Tjampuhan.I would like advice on purchasing a bracelet in Celuk.Good on you guys..
