In answer to your questions
People help others at home (at home in Australia we have poverty and homelessness)and they also help people when they travel abroad.
I don't feel guilty because i am more affluent than people who live in poverty. For me giving is like brushing my hair. It needs to be done.
I would like to suggest that the next time you are in Bali that you contact Smudge and see if it is possible to accompany him for a day. I promise you that if you do, you will know poverty in Bali.
