I have donated to quite a few charities in my time and still do!

But there seems to be maybe an element of cry poverty in Bali that some fall for more easily than others?( in some cases)

I know I am more than likely wrong.

Its hard to judge somebody's selfishness on just a few words and I did asked if I was shallow :)

But how many holidaymakers have seen real poverty in Bali over just feeling sorry for some that don't have quite as much as us?

They earn a lot less but they need not spend as much.
