It is everyone each to their own, but most of us already contribute at home in taxes for Government pensions and allowances. I also think a lot of people do support their favourite charities.
My taxes even pay for some people to not go to work and have holidays every day!
If Bali had similar Government assistance perhaps I wouldnt be inclined to give, but they dont.
