I was in Lombok in February this year. My personal opinions are:

1. Fly, I paid Rp309,000 in February for a one way flight with IAT Airlines.

2. Same

3. Gili Trawangan

4. No

5. Avoid the touts in Lembar and Senggigi
Go to Gili Trawangan
Don't stay more than 2N in Senggigi
Don't stay in Mataram
Buy Lombok handicrafts
