up the east coast thru Ketewel, missing Klungkung and coming out at Goa Lowah has made the trip a lot quicker to Amed now. We drove there recently in less than 2 hours and it was exactly 100km to where we stay ( Life at Amed). Back to Padang Bai about 45 mins but depends on how many trucks you get stuck behind! Not sure on the driver price as we drive ourselves.
