This evening I took my family to the airport to go to Bali. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to the expiry date on our daughters passport. It only had 5 months left on it, and Indonesia requires a minimum of 6 months before expiry. I put my wife and son on the plane, and am now back home with our daughter. Jetstar were good about it and have promised to extend our tickets until we work out what we are going to do.
Does anyone have any advice? I will see if I can get in touch with the Indonesian consulate or embassy tomorrow morning, as it seems we need permission from Indonesian immigration to enter Indo with a passport that has less than 6 months.
Would appreciate a number of an Indonesian working in immigration in Bali.
Cheers
