All our day trips averaged out at 250000/day plus a good tip for driver. We used different drivers to share our money round Restaurants- We ate from Legian to Kuta and never had a bad meal. but my favourite is Asian Spice in Kuta love my Asian. Most tourists were eating early because after 9pm the restaurants were empty. Markets - We did our best to keep the economy running, t-shirts, singlets, bags, shoes, dvd's,cds sunglasses. Prescription sunglass's from Centro very cheap, I was a little disappointed couldn't get contacts anywhere, mine are night & day + - they don't do them in Bali even though on my packet it says made in Indonesia. I showed them packet and they didn't know where in Indo, but the prescription glasses were made in Djakarta, allow 1 week from time of order.
Departure - arrived at airport too early, Virgin don't have an office they arrive about 2.5hrs before flight for check ins. We had to be out of hotel by 6pm so we thought lets go to Airport and check in and then go up to Dewi Lounge and chill out till our Midnight flight. So Virgin staff turned up at 9 a little early, we checked in and after 3 hours sitting around we finally head up to Dewi Lounge near gate 7, pay our 100000 and eat and drink until our flight is called. Definitely worth the 100000. I would like to thank all you Forumites for the information I have gathered over the last couple of Months which made our stay very enjoyable.
