I have travelled to many countries with rabies and having a shot has never been an option. Infact in UK they only recommend it for people in high risk groups, working with animals etc.
There have only been a handful of cases confirmed in the peninsular so far nothing outside. If you are worried avoid monkies and petting strays. But I dont think you need to have your shots and even if you do you will still need shots after.
My dog had his rabies shot yesterday and I live in the effected area but I dont have any worries or think I need to get shots myself.
