Our friends have just returned last Wed from their first trip to bali.
they visited the monkey forest, and whilst feeding a baby monkey, the mother monkey came up and bit the boy.
Now back in melbourne, they have seen their own doctor, who has refered them to the Royal Childrens Hospital. They have been told that it takes up to 3 weeks for signs of Rabies to show. They were told that there isnt a vacine available, and the doctors are now "making" one available, he needs to have 3 injections over the next 2 weeks, last one on xmas eve... Fingers crossed that all goes ok for him and his family...
