We were on the inaugral Melb /DRW /DPS flight the week before last, returning last Wed night to DRW and then Melb at 8.15 on Thur. We arrived Drw at 2.30 and it took no more than 10 mins to get through customs as there was basically no one else there.
The flight was very empty, everyone had a row of 3 seats each and there were still empty rows.
We were able to check our luggage through to Melb not long after passing through customs.
We then sat in the domestic departure lounge until the flight to Melb, the QANTAS club was open for members.
