For those who have visited the Bali Safari Park, can you please help me ease the fears of a worrisome hubby who reads the newspaper a little too much.

We're hoping to visit the Bali Safari Park in January with our 10 year old daughter, however with recent media reports warning of the risk of rabies injection by stray dogs, cats and monkies, hubby is having second thoughts about going as part of the tour apparently goes through a 'monkey like' forrest or something similar.

Does anyone know exactly how it is set up? Are the monkeys able to approach tourists or do we all just watch them from the tour bus?

I really really would like to go, but I'm struggling to convince him its safe. At worst, I can go on my own with my daughter, but seeing as its actually our honeymoon (or rather familymoon) I'd rather that we all went.
