if you are concerned is dont go to night clubs ( but with young kids I dont think you would anyway ) and probably avoid places that give rise to large gatherings.
I have taken my kids on four trips over now, the first 9 month before sept 11th, the second 12 hours after sept 11th, 6 months after
the cafe/beach bombing and july this year, every time with the kids,
we have enjoyed every time but the last three trips we were always
careful to avoid large crowds.
I do hope you go and have a wonderful trip, we are going for our first trip without kids in four weeks which will be an interesting change but when i told them we may do another family later next year all four of them said they wanted to come with!
