We are only staying 31 days but want to avoid any complications so we applied for and have received a 60 day tourist visa from embassy in Perth. Cost $60 each. You can download the forms and take them in with your passport and money. Be aware that the visa starts from the day it is issued. I dropped off forms etc on a Thursday and we picked them up on the MOnday after that. Can take longer during busy periods.
