We have 3 favourite cheaper hotels/homestays that we stay at.
Dewa Bungalows in Hanoman St Ubud. Around 100,000rp a room, nice small place with a pool.
Lumbung Sari- Three Brothers lane Legian. Rooms around 200,000rp and a small pool
Pondok Santi- Sanur (Rd to the Nusa Lembongan Boats) The absolute cleanest hotel, you could eat off the floor. Has nice basic rooms with bathroom. 75,000rp per room.
We are also doing a quick 17 day trip in the holidays due to the cheap fares and will be staying one night at Pondok Santi and then over to Lembongan.
