Last time I was in Ubud I had a look at Cendana and it looked lovely glad you liked it, as I was thinking of staying there some time.
I agree Ubud can be a bit more expensive when shopping for some things, but I have found the quality is often much better and a few times I have missed out on things, as they were in Ubud and no where else :(
