Perth airport just before customs.
You are allowed 2 liters per person but are allowed to take through 2x 1.25 liter bottles each if you declare it. this is done when you pay for it at the airport duty free.
Different airports have the xray machines in different places,some just before your bording gate which means you can be over your liquid limit and have it taken off of you just before bording,this has happened to me in Thailand.
Best buy it when you get off at Perth,may be a little bit more but they do a lot of buy 2 bottle specials which can work out quite cheap.
Plus you wont have to squeeze it in your overhead locker with your hand luggage in Bali.
