Well we are one of the many who were supposed to fly out of Brisbane but due to unforeseen circumstances things have changed. On Friday when we found out we were to be moved to a virgin flight out of Brisbane but have reconsidered this and have opted to be flown from the Gold Coast to Sydney and then with Garuda to bail at their cost..
The trip to Brisbane is the same time if not less to fly to Sydney and we still fly with a full service carrier as Virgin is not.
Over all it is just over an hour more in travel time but the flight arrival back in Aus is much better with Garuda and we have a 7 month old. Garuda offer a basinet as virgin said we had to carry her on our lap the entire journey and pay for a blanket and pillow and any food we require.
If things were to happen and Virgin Cancelled there flight due to poor bookings, were then would that leave us?...
Garuda has done their best to accommodate us we thank them for that.
Looking forward to getting there only 9 more work days left to go (not counting)..
any one else opted for this change?
