We kept on putting off booking our trip to Bali, flying with Garuda, for February and now it was probably a good thing because I hate flying to Bali via Sydney. My brother was adament since deciding to go to Bali, only Garuda "because it feels like we are in bali the minute we step foot on the plane". Nothing was going to change his mind! Until this. We are now saving a few hundred dollars on airfares by going with another airline and the spare money that we were going to spend on Garuda will go into our Bali spending fund :)
