us again. Something to be careful of all you shoppers out there.. Today at the airport. When we checked in our luggage, we were 25kgs OVER! The Balinese guy behind the counter working for Garuda explained to us that we were over and it was going to cost us US $7 per KG. He told us that he would meet us upstairs. We were spewing but we thought okay no worries.. We got up there and he said that he would only charge us AUD $100 if we paid him in cash. We explained to him that we did not have any cash on us and that we only had cards. He demanded that we pay him and told me to meet him in the toilet to pay him. He was pulling a swifty on us. If we had money on us, we would of paid him.. I read on the forum that they are cracking down on overweight bags so I was concerned but this guy just wanted some dollars for himself ( which I am okay with, just went the wrong way about it ). Hope this helps anyone going soon.
