hi bit of an update from bali been here 7 days its been hot but quite pleasant weather poured rain first few days hardly any rain now.Rate on street is climbing slightly today 7800 rupiah.Padma street a nightmare getting dug up to put cables in.Not many tourists mostly schoolies and europeans.Restaurants mostly empty,prices up a bit with most things but things arnt good for the balinese with not many people about.We here with about 20 people staying all different hotels mostly schoolies all having great time but bounty night club has been evacuated twice due to security scare nothing foud.Not noticing much security on street etc.Theres a really bad eye infection going around weve got six down with it like a conjunctivitis owner lady desma from tommys who lives here says its spreading everywhere probably from tourists so everyone wash those hands!!!!!Legian beach really dirty lots plastic bags and rubish back on beach swell isnt that big so not sure where its all coming from.Husband has had good surf most days has to search for it but hes happy.Had great morrocan,fresh pasta at Zanzibar watching drum players and fire twirlers on beach always a good night.Couple more weeks to go bali is bali laid back,hot,noisy and just the same.
