It's NOT dirty, never has been. It IS however, very noisy. It is just about impossible to get a ground floor room, which is an issue if you have any sort of problem climbing LOTS of stairs.
The price has been increased enough to make it not such a good choice anymore.
The main reasons we were unhappy with it were, the food had increased greatly in price, and decreased greatly in size and quality. Breakfast were very poor. The whole ambience of the place has become one of 'if you don't like it, leave." We had stayed there many many times, and the staff are lovely, so I suspect it's a management issue.
This Feb we will be staying at the Sari Beach Inn for our first time, and we must both admit to feeling a little bit odd not staying in the same area we always have stayed it.
