we flew to Bali via KL in August. Make sure you stay in KL not near tha airport. The KL airport is about an hour from KL and there is nothing around there. We stayed at the Prince hotel and it was 120 per night for a standard room. Sorry cant tell you about any other hotels. KL is very different to Bali but most women love the shopping in KL better than Bali. Anyway have a great time
