week in KL and stayed at Parkroyal with husband and son (2 rooms) - nice hotel, good breakfast, right in the heart of things and within easy reach to shops and sightseeing attractions (petronas towers, telecom tower etc). We only ever used a cab once to go to Chinatown (Petaling street) as we were unsure of the directions, but walked back - pleasant walk
I actually managed to get a much cheaper price though from the Air Asia website. It was much cheaper than booking through the hotel. when I emailed parkroyal to advise of the rate given by Air Asia I was told to book through them as they could not match the rate Not sure if this is the norm so worth checking out both modes of booking.
Can't fault the hotel at all.
