I have just got back from one month in Bali & Jakarta. There is no hysteria there about the executions, nor should there be. It is the same old MEDIA beatup. Life goes on as usual in Bali. My wife & 5 yo daughter are still in Jakarta & they know about the situation, I would never have let them stay if there was ANY concern. If, as you think, you love Bali, why wouldnt you go. DONT LET FEAR HOLD YOU BACK. If you do, you wont go anywhere. On a lighter note we found Sanur Beach villas to be a great place, clean, comfortable, the owner is a great,no b.s. gentleman & goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. If you are not sure about going to Bali, then you shouldnt be asking anyone on this forum to make YOUR mind up for you, You need to make that that decision on your own!!
