Hi, just wondering if you could give me some more details as you've been there for Nyepi before. I don't know alot about it other than the date! We will be there from the 23rd March (late evening)to 30th March.
My understanding was (& from reading your post) we will be totally restricted to hotel from ?midnight on the 25th to the morning of the 27th for Nyepi.
I don't know what Kuningan is but it's on the 28th. Does this perhaps mean alot of places might be closed from 25th - 28th?
We are not worried about the hotel restriction but just need to obviously plan ahead for anything we might want to do. Would the restaurants around Tuban be open during this time or do they close as well (we will be at the Patra).
We are fortunate to now be going at Xmas as well (just booked) so wouldn't consider changing my dates in March just need to be aware of what's going on then.
Would appreciate any detailed info you have. Have asked on here before but only really got the date which I already knew. Will leave my email open too.
